Just because someone is an "outsider" doesn't mean they don't lie. Go to Yang's video on Youtube and flag it as misleading.

@bobjenkins3rd All means Everyone! Not "All who want it". Mischaracterizing what "All" means does not make it true. Lies to cover up other lies do not make the original lies true. This was not a smear; it was a genuine criticism. Watch the video in the link I posted. Nothing in that video is a smear. Yang is simply not telling the truth in his commercial. Andrew Yang does not support Medicare For All. I wish he did. I agree this is not a purity test. People like Yang and Buttigieg who do not support M4A should be touting how great they think private insurance or a public option are, not trying to piggyback on genuine support for M4A. Medicare For All is an actual bill (two bills really, one in the house and the other in the senate). Andrew Yang does not support Medicare For All, which is for Everyone and which gets rid of private health insurance. Read the damn bill. You are entitled to your own opinions; you are not entitled to your own facts.

@bobjenkins3rd Your arguments are disingenuous. Semantics, i.e. words, i.e. facts DO matter. No, this is not a "free apples to all" offer; rather, this is the difference between single-payer insuranc (in this case M4A) and still having a private healthcare insurance industry which sucks billions in profits out of the system. Lies are lies; Andrew Yang lied in his ad. End of story.

@robertnicholls9917 Again, M4A is a set of two specific bills, one in the senate and one in the house. That is what M4A means. Calling anything else, especially plans which are not single-payer, is indisputably NOT M4A. Private health insurance is specifically NOT single-payer and NOT M4A. Facts matter.

@robertnicholls9917 Exactly. Candidates who are centrist Democrats keep telling us how important the middle is and don't move too far to the left, but then they keep saying they are "progressive". Private health insurance supporters like Yang keep saying how everyone needs to have "choice" of insurance, but then they keep falsely using M4A in their plan names, commercials, and websites. Why? If they really think people like centrist policies and private health insurance, then why don't they just be proud of that? At least they would be genuine and honest.
