@Salsuero On the other hand, we were all supposed to have self-driving cars by now, and self-driving trucks were going to wipe out the jobs of human truck drivers. That has not happened. Yes, AI is happening. No, it will not be all that is hyped.

@Salsuero First, "mathing" is not a word. Second, I never said that using fewer artists would not cost jobs. That is the straw man argument you created. My point was and still is that AI, like most technologies which gain traction, is currently hyped. That's it. Any straw men you create to argue against, are entirely up to you. Those are your "gotchas", not mine.

"It will be very helpful." Republicans will post videos showing Democratic politicians saying all sort of shit they never said. The public will believe that shit. At a minimum, it will be a distraction away from the Republicans' bad, bad records. The corporate media will start reporting on the fake videos nonstop instead of on real issues (which already get almost no coverage). Democrats are always too spineless to fight back. So much for "helpful".
