I worked at a large computer company with a person who was about the dumbest person I ever worked with. Our large computer lab had a raised floor with removable tiles. There were plenty of spare power drops beneath the floor. But my coworker had the bright idea to daisy-chain power strips! That was less work than removing floor tiles to pull the power outlets up above the floor. Then she blamed the contractor on the team because workstation computers on her daisy-chained power strips would suddenly turn off. 15 years later, she was still working there!
