  9. The same thing happened with regards to Russian forces in Crimea. RT claimed for years that the "little Green men" were not Russian soldiers and all who claimed they were were part of a conspiracy against Russia. Then when Putin revealed those soldiers were in fact Russian, RT stated they were necessary to ensure the referendum was conducted 'properly', thus avoiding the whole point of them lying for years and "Western" media being right all along.
