  1. If you are going to do a real degree like physics or engineering, then university is well worth it. But those doing NODDY degrees, like sociology and media studies, would be far better getting a job. The only purpose of so many degrees is to keep lecturers off the dole. I wouldn't be at all surprised if someone told me that there is now a degree in Restroom Management.

  3. Well actually, not really. We don't pay the pension until an older age, but due to rampant ageism, which the courts turn a blind eye to, most people get neither a pension or an appropriate job.
