  1. A little less than 60 years ago my mother used to work for Hornsey Old People's Welfare, and used to spend her time visiting old people to make sure they were OK. I can still remember the location of their office in a small parade of shops just to the left of the bottom of Wolseley Road. They also used to have a luncheon club for them (opposite Hornsey railway station) and arrange little outings to places like St. Albans Tea Shop for the old people. Does any of this still exist?
