I do wonder why we haven't jet built the equivalent of fighter jets or bombers designed to be piloted purely by someone hooked up to a good VR interface. One could make them considerably smaller and harder to hit, and for some important targets they would have double the range as there would be no pilot to bring home. Then again maybe this has been developed but is being kept as an ace up the sleeve.
