It's a dangerous precident to explain failures away as "we just wern't authoritarian enough". The ability of kids to be able to escape a flawed system by skipping school is a nessesary pressure valve in the system. Without such outlets, kids may be seriously harmed, please don't assume you always know best and force kids to comply with your system "or else" - if you're wrong then you are actually subjecting children to torture. Please be careful, use of force is not a toy!

2 points: 1- At the end of the video he mentioned DIRECTLY PROVIDING THE SUPPORT STRUCTURES that emulate parents. This is essentially hot-wiring the community, bypassing the existing negative social structures. 2 - We're already doing it forcibly, you think kids goto school VOLUNTARILY? They don't have a choice. We've already been doing this forcibly for decades (or hundreds?!) of years - so since we've already got this power, lets do it right.
