Lex, would you be able to invite Dr.Iain McGilchrist - psychiatrist, neuroscience researcher, philosopher and literary scholar from Oxford, the author of " The Master and its Emissary" and "The Matter With Things: Our Brains, Our Delusions and the Unmaking of the World". He is superb ! He will add greatly to the discussions.

A conversation between Dr.Iain McGilchrist ( psychistrist, neuroscience researcher, philosopher) and Dr. Rupert Sheldrake (biologist). Fascinating! I'm reading " The Matter with things" by Dr.McGilchrist. Very intellectual, elegantly written, scientific with referencing to scientists like Niels Bohr. Mind blowing ! Must read.

  6. Very interesting comment! I read in "The developing mind" that a mind extends merely individual & encompasses the relational aspect. Relational aspects can include not only humans. With the devices and AI systems, it is more that we create their sentience in our minds. Nevertheless, it brings more richness of experience to our lives. But from what l can see, the biggest potential of emotional, social, and spiritual growth comes from good human to human connections. That is especially related to children & young people as they are in critical developmental stages that require other people for their brains to wire properly.
