  1. Junk engine probably keeps the few dozen T-14s parked in a warehouse somewhere. Until they make a variant with a new engine we won’t see them. That could take a long time because of the way the tank is designed. It is built around the unusual engine that has no drop in replacement.

  2. If it was sent to war at all, the deployment to Ukraine probably was loaded on a trailer or train, fired a couple of rounds without unloading, then sent back to Russia immediately. This way they could claim it technically has combat experience even though it wasn’t seen on the front lines.

  3. Also, such a large tank while keeping moderate weight means that the protection can’t be very good. The turret can probably easily be damaged.
