@0samaTV Iran has repeatedly threatened to destroy all of Israel as soon as they obtain nuclear weapons. This might just be disingenuous bluster but Israel must treat it as a very real threat because of the capabilities of nukes to do that and the frequent IRGC backed attacks on Israel over the last several decades. An imminent threat by a new nuclear power could provoke a preemptive nuclear strike on them. It is exceptionally reckless to make such threats which can lead to nuclear war.

Even with F-35s the attack would be difficult and complicated. They have limited firepower which would mean numerous attack waves would be necessary to effectively strike all targets. They would require refueling for each wave to reach that far and mid air fuelers would be vulnerable during that time if used. Degrading Iran's air defense network would also be prudent even with stealth aircraft, which means even more strike missions. This then starts to look like a war and not a quick limited strike, a war that could drag in other countries and non state groups.

@rickytorres8566 Iran has repeatedly threatened to destroy Israel completely. It is prudent to expect that they may carry out that threat as soon as they obtain nuclear weapons.

Iran has repeatedly threatened to completely destroy Israel and kill all the people there. That justifies both covert and overt methods to prevent that from happening. I wouldn't blame Israel for strikes required to protect themselves from harm.

They would need to refuel to strike deep into Iran and return. They also have very limited internal payload and would lose all stealth if using external payload. Israel only has small numbers of F-35I so far - not enough even for limited strikes on all nuclear facility targets in Iran in a single wave. Various F-15 models would likely have to assist as well as numerous cruise missile strikes. It would be a massive operation, probably involving numerous attack waves in order to achieve the objectives. Not just a quick raid. It looks more like all out war.

I hope that Israel gets involved with the F-15X program in addition to expanding F-35 numbers.

They continued with their nuclear weapons program. The IAEA had very limited inspections and noted that dual use facilities continued to exist and that weapons production could be continuing in locations that they did not have access to. Numerous sources have confirmed that weapons production is ongoing. For every site they closed down to show to inspectors, they opened up three more elsewhere. Furthermore, Iran has openly admitted to continuing certain parts of their programs.

They can toss ballistic and cruise missiles at each other. Israel has better air defenses but Iran is vastly larger and more disperse. In a limited strike scenario Israel would have an advantage but in an all out war scenario Israel's air defenses could potentially be overwhelmed.

@pofaknamaki8847 Multiple political and military leaders have said so on multiple occasions. The IRGC says that kind of stuff all the time.

Selling nukes is absolutely banned by international agreements and that kind of proliferation could itself provoke a nuclear strike on both buyer and seller to prevent the spread of nukes.

Iran has repeatedly threatened to completely destroy Israel and kill everyone in it. Israel has not threatened to destroy Iran, only their ability to harm Israel.
