Only a 51 second interview? That's not enough time for Peters to mount a complex argument properly but enough time for him to look inept by the corporate media. I'm sure a lot of what Peters may have said to justify his stance was conveniently edited out. Look at the background of the interview, it seems that Peters was caught off guard by the journalist. Regardless, Peters gave a thorough, well thought out answer in a very tricky situation. Peters has always been the voice of reason in parliament.
