There was one where a female video game programmer was targeted by misogynistic game enthusiasts. Do you think they were trying to reference Anita’s story?
1
@dee why are you so sure that she really killed Meredith?
1
@A.M. I’m hoping to read her book before the year is over
1
I love this video, but, yes, I think including Trump was a mistake. It sends a message to Trump supporters that you have to be against Trump if you want to help women who have been harassed.
1
When Amanda was in prison, her diary - which contained the names of literally every man she’d ever slept with - was leaked to the press. She only wrote the names because the prison doctor “accidentally” told her she had AIDS and was trying to figure out who gave it to her.
1
Why can’t one abused woman interview another?
1
@AlexisGarcia most importantly, she doesn’t judge or make these women feel like they are to blame. I wish Diane Sawyer had shown Amanda the same courtesy during her own interview.
1
@bjulia33 are you violating the ‘NDA by posting this?
1
Her side was full of lies? The official story - propagated by both the prosecution and the media - was a total conspiracy theory. No one bothered to do a complete investigation before declaring they knew what happened and what the motive had been.
1
Because of her story, Amanda Knox is the perfect person to interview these women. Look at her face when she’s listening to the stories. The facts that she listens more than she talks speaks a lot to her character.
1
How can you be sure you know the facts that you’re unwilling to hear both sides?
1
I think she looked fine in the bathroom. The snow probably added to much moisture.
1
Voyeurism?
1
@Petersburg Tug - read Malcolm Gladwell’s book “Talking to Strangers “
1
Meredith was THE victim. But Amanda is still A victim.
1
She was coerced into naming him. He should have sued the police officers who conducted Amanda’s “interrogation”
1
Actually, the police forced her to make that statement. Also, she recanted it the next day, after she’d gotten some sleep.
1
@Riccardo there already was a Netflix documentary
1
Yeah. That girl has been through enough.
1
Because, my friend, that is as it should be 😌
1
@pancakesandtea she was coerced into accusing him by the police. They assumed he did it based on a text she’d sent him, then they bullied her into saying he saw him killing Meredith.
1
Why not?
1
I’m sorry for the Kerchers. But Amanda is t disrespecting them by living her life.
1
I'm glad cases like Daisy's are being examined in law schools.
1
Mathilde - she actually sent a letter to the Kercher family asking if she could meet with them in person. You can find several videos on YouTube of her saying she’d live to meet with them.
1
I love that Amanda is the interviewer. She’s an example, not just to women, but to anyone looking for strength.
1
@dbboykid10 you should read her book. When you look at the prosecution's case from her point of view, it doesn't seem like such a slam dunk.
1
When two women share an apartment and one of them sees blood in the bathroom, the chances usually are that it’s menstrual blood. No one really expects to find a corpse lying in there house, so it’s not exactly the first thing that would come to mind.
1
People like Amanda Knox give me hope that the world isn’t lost.
