I still think a guy who works at call center in India for 9 hours a day 26 days a week for 200-300 bucks/month is going to be cheaper than running any AI model at the moment.

Most videos on YouTube have sh*t and uneven video quality, Sora used a lot of synthetic videos from Unreal engine 5, not that Google can't do it, but it seems like they're missing some secret sauce as well

@belkamax05 wouldn't say just education, most of the time it's generational wealth + good parenting vs rest. Now I understand that not caring about the consumers of their product can lead to really bad things like it happened in 1930, but the point is they'd try to find the sweet spot at which humans are able to just make enough money to buy their products One scary thought is, if AGI actually comes and human labour has no value, what's stopping them from erasing a big chunk of population..... ? I mean they can build an utopia but fear is human nature and no one would want to fall from the graces after reaching that high in the age of AI

The bad thing that can happen is those who have the computation power to run these models are going to sell them, and it would just widen the gap rich and poor

@belkamax05 listen bro, I call "they" because I've seen a very clear distinction between people who want to survive in this economy vs people who care about nothing but the evaluation of assets they hold, yeah I don't come from a rich family, and got my first job as a self taught in a small startup, and now opening my own startup, when you see big corporate people and shareholders, who can just "do things" it's crazy, and even for small companies, they buy equity from them and when the company collapses the founder gets kicked off, replaced by someone else but the shareholders remain who they are unless they choose to remain. "They" are very greedy and they don't care about innovation or, a better future, or a dream, no, it's a bunch of people who want to remain on top of the food chain like they are right now, and they'll do it at all costs. EU seems to keep some of these companies in control but US... Nah.

@I.K.illedThatBeardGuy listen bro I'm Indian and I have neighbours who work at call centers it's not that deep, the population is crazy and not everyone can get a good job, but most people know english, so a call center helps them survive.
