  1. All these delays cost lives. Let's take the current situation which is potentially a breakthrough, but to actually take advantage of the situation and achieve that breakthrough, Ukraine would need to have air support, effective air superiority and armored strike capability to blitz into the Ruzzians rear and punch through their defenses in the Zaporizhzhia region and make it a realistic prospect of reaching the Azov sea by winter. That ain't gonna happen, because they don't have those F-16s that are somewhere else but not in Ukraine.
