Robert Miller Scandinavian socialism is a myth. You have countries with tiny populations around 8 million people living within close proximity to each other. They are mostly homogeneous, share the same culture and beliefs, while simultaneously not intervening militarily in other locations around the world (except maybe as small, token volunteer forces already under the U.S.). In essence Scandinavia is apples and the U.S. is oranges, you can't compare the two. In the case of Sweden it was neutral during both world wars not accumulating any debt so it had lots or money to go around. Heck their economy is free market capitalism for the most part that in some aspects is even more free than the U.S. despite the cronyism. This is why they are able to afford such lavish welfare programs but that is changing with all the migrants coming in and refusing to integrate creating many ghettos. Now they are experiencing what the U.S. goes through on a daily basis that many Europeans ignorantly mock when they have zero clue on how shit works in the U.S. except through their lying leftist media and Hollywood.
