They never were vikings. But the former generation we true honest and hard working, heroes who built the most advanced society in the world with practically free ecucation and heath care. But younger post war generation gradually screwed it all. Today's generation is practically balless and ignorant and totally incompetent to gasp anything really. Of course there are some intelligent individuals but the collapse is evitable, in my humble opinion.

I would add that under Alexander I rule Finland had a prosperous time in many aspects, was allowed and even encouraged to develop own national culture and language, that era till much weaker Nicolas was great time for Finland. It all comes to how strong and wise the leader emperor is. Once again Russia has a very strong leader, the best in its entire history at least in my humble opinion. Political elites are now doing the biggest mistake in Finland's history. Also according to many American military and intelligence analysts.

@PerttiKostiainen Actually most are not at least in my view. Politic elites are psychopats and sociopaths and total idiots. Despite massive propaganda avtually since right after ww2, ordinary Finns want to live in peace with Russia. There are still some sane old politicians like Paavo Väyrynen, former minister in different offices who are against Nato membership.
