  8.  @mandrews1245  Yes that is the problem, all forgotten. Mannerheim saved Finland's independence in March 1940 by surrendering to overpower Red Army. Stalin in turn got buffer zone against Leningrad. Great deal for both. Later Finland once again sided Nazi Germany and eventually lost the war. So Stalin gave Finland independence two times. Now with extremely hostile attitude for Russia there will never be third time. Finland is the stupidest country in history. Unfortunately.
