US doing this all the time, remember Vietnam?? relying on US is foolish, just as depend on so called quad or strategic partnership with US, US will just dump you without any hesitation when you need it most. is it ironic that if US supporting Taliban but India support current AFG government by sending ammunition to them to fight Taliban? India foreign policy under Modi and Jaishankar is full of self-conflict and a totally mess, the result is India has no clear mind where it will go, and getting isolated in the world day by day.
