1. Please kindly mention that US is not in the UN ocean treaty
2. US stands no side in the island claims of any country
3. US only wants to have right of free navigation in SCS which China agrees.
4. at the time of drawing the dashed line, there were no independent countries around, only colonies of British USA and France, these master countries, i.e. USA, British, and France, all had NO, (0) objections to the dashed line claim by ROC (China at the time).
5. therefore, the dispute now has historical reasons, countries around SCS should discuss it with China, by nature, China and US even have no real contradictions on the standing of their policies in SCS, only thing is that China does not want US navy ships get too close to the islands that China has. SCS is 3.5 million sq km, it is huge, it makes no sense for US navy ships to get so close to those islands in order to do free navigation,
6. it has nothing to do with India, and India has no position to judge anything and has no real power to influence anything in SCS. so please just stay out of it and be quiet about it. or we can sink all your navy fleet to the bottom of SCS to make some more islands, and thank you very much for your contributions.
