As for those Filipinos expect to get other countries to fight for them, if they ever learned little bit history they would not expect that too much 1. in 1950, the UN sent 16 countries formed UN force led by the US army into Korea war, in 3 month, Chinese army kick all of them out of North Korea. 2. In 1950-60s, the US had defense treaty with TW, so US escort TW warships, but when PLAN warships attacked the TW warships, the US warships just run away, did not protect TW ships at all.

EEZ does not determine the ownership of an island inside. 3. 2016 tribunal arbitrary was not a UN institution. it was formed by some civilians, its decision has no legal binding to those not attending it, China did not attend it. The Philippines paid $30 million to it to get a piece of waste paper, totally of no use. 4. Distance does not determine if a country owns a place or not. 5. China follows UNCLOS, China has done nothing that violated UNCLOS rules. 6. 9 dashed lines formed near 80 years, we will hold on to it, and defend what is ours according to it.
