  1. @billy bob My understanding is that China put on the tariff's over the 14 grievances. Else why did china stop buying Australian products? Both countries exercising their sovereign rights. I don't think it is a case of blame as you say.

  2. I read western sources and carn't see I have seen main stream ones reporting shortages or panic buying. Must be very local if it is happening at all

  4. @billy bob Australia excercised her soverign rights, some of which China didn't agree with. So China exercised hers. Australia is only to blame if you see it as a tribute state of China.

  5. If China had a totally free supply - demand market it wouldn't be experiencing power shortages. Which is due to price control and power companies not making money on the power they produce. This shouldn't be a long term ill. Am sure the CCP will sort. They have the resouces.
