  1. Net interest rates are well over 1% now. That’s where they need to be in order to be restrictive and bring down inflation. There is no case to keep hiking. Sure, if they want to hike another 0.25%-0.5% if it makes the Fed feel good then go ahead. It makes little to no difference anyway, but soon the Fed’s moment in the spotlight will be over. Hiking will end and they can start planning to pivot and cut rates accordingly.
