First of all you fail to mention that Iranian Patrik boasts were firing at US navy helicopters minutes before the surface to air missile was fired. And that Iranians had F14 fighters in the area targeting US naval vessels. But why would you give context to that story. The fact that Iran is refusing to turn over three black box and has yet to deny any wrong doing leads us all to believe they had something to do with it.

The general was in Bagdad at the time, it is fact that he trained the militia that was bombed, who had attacked american assets. To say that Iran had nothing to do with any of the current trouble in Iraq is just pure ignorance. When Iraqis are protesting because of the incursions Iran is committing inside Iraq. @graywalkerjoin3rdparty74 first of all, there has not been an official request from Iraq to remove US assets in the region. Iraq's parliment has voted on a referendum that would remove american assets but that has not been approved by Iraqs executive powers. In fact the Iraqi president and minister of defense have requested US forces to not leave the country. But if you took 5 minutes to research all of this, you would already know this. I do not use mainstream media as my sources as they are obviously biased, I use a multitude of sources bother partisan and non-partisan, foreign and domestic. The killing of the general is not an act of war, it was a military operation to protect US and allied assets in the region from an imminent attack, including Iraqi forces. The attack was on a known terrorist target inside Iraq. Under article II the president can attack known military targets of another nation as long as those operations do not require a budget to operate as he is the commander in chief. Articles of war under the US constitution does not say a president can or cannot declare an act of war, it simply states that the president and Congress may do so to protect american interests, these articles just as almost every amendment in the constitution can be subjectively interpreted. I find it blatantly disgusting that an american is defending the terrorist actions of iran, and pointing their finger at the commander in chief for acting in defense of an imminent threat to american service members. Fact, the Iranians general organized and funded attacks on american assets inside iraq, fact the general organized the attack on the US Embassy, fact Iran attacked British ships in international waters, fact Iran shot down two US UAV's over international waters. Yet you sit here defending Iran and pointing fingers at President Trump. You are a borderline traitor at this point, and a disgusting pig, that is my opinion.

Why are we in Iraq? Seriously? Iran has been trying to get trade routes to the Mediterranean for 3 years now through Iraq and Syria,hence why we have a strong security presents on the main highway from Iran to the sea, including the oil fields in northeastern Syria. Allowing Iran to have unregulated trade route to the Mediterranean gives them all the supply routes they would need for material to finish their nuclear program. If you think allowing Iran the material needed to make a bomb is okay, then you are a lost cause. We are in the middle east to prevent the real bad people from becoming worst. If you cannot see that, then you are ignorant and blind.
