  1. Nice to see Vice can still do a nice article on an important subject. I understand the loss to ranchers but allowing ranchers to use special permits to kill wolves is not the answer. With such small numbers of cattle being killed by wolves, the state should bring in a state hunter to hunt down the wolf and either relocate or terminate the wolves. The permit allows for just a little to much lee way for ranchers and no accountability. But there needs to be very tight management of the wolves, before you run into problems like they are having now in Yellow Stone with to many wolves. Its a very difficult situation.
