  5. Well SlyRy and C DeVine they constitution has been amended 27 times, in order for an amendment to be amended it takes 3/4 of the senate and the house, and then 3/4 of the states all to agree in order for a ratification to pass. Even tho it is possible to ratify the 2nd, it is so unlikely that it would ever occur, that I would say close to impossible. Guns are not the problem, children immediately blame the tool not the criminal. When a driver drunk driving kills someone, do you blame the car or the driver? When a doctor kills someone during a routine medical procedure do you blame the doctor or the scalpel? When a person dies from heart disease or diabetes do you blame Mc Donalds for the crap food they eat, or do you blame the person for making poor decisions? When a teenager texting while driving kills a family of three, do you blame the cell phone or do you blame the person driving? These children are clueless, to blame the gun is just ignorant of reality. Instead of focusing their time and power to change things that are more possible, that would impact school shootings immediately, they instead protest to ban so called assault rifles, age restriction for buying guns, 30 day waiting periods, etc. Not any where do I hear protests for additional armed security, locked down schools with central entry point, bullet proof school bags, locks for doors, bullet proof glass, proper training for police, proper training for students and staff, or even armed staff in the building. All those things are changes that could help prevent mass shootings in schools, are relatively quicker to enact and are changes that would be seen immediately. Then there is the no bullying, report what you see, and be proactive in helping those that need support.

  8. Stricter gun control? How much more strict do you want it? You cannot be a felon, no history of violence, or commitment in a mental institution. You must be 18 to buy a shotgun or rifle and 21 for a pistol. Back ground checks are already done. You have to understand gun laws and legislation are done by the state at the state level, not by the federal government. There is no other gun control or legislation that would have prevented the Florida shooting or 90% of all mass shootings. Most of the shootings in history in the US have been done by a lawful person with mental defect. Now most of the stuff I hear from these children is they want universal background checks (already done) but there are about half of the states that allow private gun sales without a background check. I agree that those private gun sales should also require a back ground check. But as I mentioned most shooters have been legal to own, and I do not recall any mass shooting conducted by a person who bought firearms through a private sale. Regarding the age! If your old enough to vote, and old enough to go to war for your country, and old enough to be charged as an adult for a crime then there is no way you can tell someone 18 they cannot own a rifle or a shotgun. If you change the age to 21, then you shouldn't be allowed to vote till 21, and you shouldn't be allowed to be sent to war till your 21. So what other strict gun law changes would you like to see? Please enlighten us? Let me guess a waiting period? Okay lets just say you do a 3 day waiting period. Do you think a mentally ill person isn't going to wait three days, five days or even ten days? Most mass shootings are premeditated by weeks if not months. Again tell us what gun reform do you want to see?
