You think it is? I doubt this will have any beneficial effect. If you want to combat antisocial behaviour, you first of all have to find out why people exhibit it. Putting a lid on the cooking pot only increases the pressure.

When I'm thinking about anti-social, ... well, let's say I think Rishi is quite the expert in this regard. What he and his cronies are doing is much, but I wouldn't exactly call it compatible with something I'd consider social or decent.

It's like being on the Titanic and watching it sink, and when you check who's at the helm you see you're actually on Steamboat Willie.

Or the right to tell the person praying that he's wasting his life.

@Jebaitedfilms Freedom of religion is a primary right of every person, or at the very least, it should be. Everyone should be allowed to believe (or refuse to believe) whatever they like, the only limitation I could see is imposing those believes (or lack thereof) on someone else who does not wish to believe (or not believe) it.

@paulk3681 Erh... intercessory prayer is probably not something you want to field as a proof for god. The Templeton Foundation did a study on intercessory prayer. A pretty good one, it had everything, professionals praying (i.e. nuns and priests), control groups (of people who received no prayer and people who received prayer but were not told that they received any) and a decent group size. The outcome was that there was no statistically relevant difference in complications between the group that received prayers but was not told that people prayed for them and the group that received no prayers. There was a statistically significant difference in the group that received prayers and was told they received them. They had more complications. So... if you want to pray for me, do so, but please don't tell me.

Cybertorture? Care to provide an example of what this might be?

Well, he sure is prepping everything for that right wing insurgency. Can't rely on the mob to take away your freedoms, right?

I'm fairly sure doing a drug test in parliament would be an eye opener. Just don't arrest anyone or those benches would look even more empty than they usually do.
