Saving what? How many people do you know that earn enough to put some money aside for later?

No, you probably wouldn't have to worry about those prices because then the last people delivering that to your stores would leave the country.

@Dr4co2023 Do you know why it's 65? Because back when the whole thing was decided to come into existence, life expectancy was 65 years. And back then that was affordable. You'd work 'til 65, you lived maybe another 5 years or so, then you croaked. Now people get 10 years older on average. Sure, not in good health and not in any way they could possibly still work, but in good enough shape to still get pensions. And now it's simply not affordable anymore. If you have a solution for the problem, present it.

@paulrodrigues5562 Hard work? Please, the harder someone has to work for his money, the lower the chance that he can put some of it aside for later. Most people these days can barely get by on their income.

@Dr4co2023 I am almost 50 and I could retire. With ease. But I'm one of the lucky few who earn more than they need. What about those that don't?

@virxest that reply makes no sense whatsoever.

@virxest I earn enough, but yes, it does affect me. What do you think will happen to me and my money when the mob realized they've been bullshitted and they won't have enough money to buy food?

@graham108 I know that people first and foremost have to have surplus money to invest it. That's the key problem for most people today: They don't.

@maxkubyshkin7510 That's exactly the problem. And not just since 2019, that has been a reality for at the very least 40 years now.
