@filgypsy31 Your statement is very western. Most Asian countries people happily do it. Even in America there are Asian families who still take care of their elderly. You may not appreciate your parents but don't blame that on the times

@Ps7apple Your statement supports my own, you admit they didn't raise you right. Visiting parents doesn't make you sound any less selfish if you aren't willing to take care of them. You don't "put into a child" to benefit back, if you raise them right they WANT TO do it themself. Even in western countries where it isn't shamed as heavily to not take care of parents some people still do it. There's heavy stigma about not taking care of parents in Asian countries that effects even the most self centered

Of course there are but the difference is many if not most of these men were never highly desired. Most women are sought after in their 20s so if they couldn't make it work that means they wasted their opportunity. The other thing is men often peak later in life because the stability women desire usually takes time to accumulate

Your children will want to take care of you if you raise them right. Chances are if they have no desire to that's your fault for being a bad parent. Often you see even the more selfish left over women say one requirement is their parents are taken care of. Even a couple of my white friends are of the mindset of not letting their parents end up in a home

@filgypsy31 Being Asian myself i can tell you even in the west many families still believe in it. Stigma and shame are good, a big reason the west is in its current condition is due to the lack of these factors. You claim that you want to so why shouldn't others hold themselves to that same standard if they love their parents? As for older men, if they have the stability women crave they are happy to date a younger woman in her 20s. Data also shows women are more likely to be unhappy without family than men

@Ps7apple Whether you need it or not if they don't want to do so themselves then you failed. You don't need to be rich to take care of elderly parents or kids, you just need values. Eastern culture is pretty simple, they took care of you when you were a helpless baby and kid out of love. Keeping this in mind you should be happy to do the same for them before they pass

You don't raise children to take care of you but if you do it right they will want to do so. Sounds like you were a bad parent if they have no desire to take care of you in your old age. Now if you follow these videos you will see even from the more selfish women one requirement is her parents cared for. Even my white friends are of the mindset of not letting their parents ending up in a home despite western upbringings

@filgypsy31 Seeing as you claim to want to you shouldn't be surprised others want to as well. The fact that shame and stigma exist is a good thing, a big factor of the west falling to degeneracy is lack of it. Studies show women are more likely to end up depressed without a family than men. Paul Dolan is the only one who claimed otherwise but retracted his statement due to mistranslation of his source. Biology dictates in most cases women are more interested in people, men are more interested in things

Data shows most women are likely to be unfulfilled without a family. On top of this attractive older men are desired for a longer period of time than older women. When an older woman is attractive that's a red flag to men with common sense because we know that women are sought after early on so the fact she couldn't make it work after all this time means the men she wanted didn't want her back. The fact that she's still pretty means that it must be due to her personality. Men aren't on the same time clock as the stability women crave often takes time to accumulate. The thing is though the more he makes the less he cares about how much she makes so he can happily date a much younger woman
