  3.  Hellish  School shootings occur statistically more in countries with a right to bear arms written into their constitution. The problem isn't the gun free zones, it's the fact that they allow virtually anyone to own one, and those who can't legally own one have no problem buying the from private sellers who can.

Prevention is what's required here, not some half baked cure. Teachers shouldn't have to risk their lives like that, and it's a fair bet many don't want to. The answer is to make guns much harder to obtain, like they are in countries which don't have school shootings.

What you're saying would be like pointing out that speed limits are lower on the most dangerous sections of road, then suggesting those lower speed limits are what makes those sections of road more dangerous.

The purpose of the speed limit analogy I posted was to highlight the flaw in such an assumption. The fact that you completely ignored that analogy and reverted back to personal attacks as you're primary argument suggests you're well aware of said flaw. There's a reason the US has so many school shootings, and it's not gun free zones. There are many western countries which have much larger gun free zones that the US, and they don't have school shootings at all, because they see gun ownership as a responsibility rather that a right.
