  1. Remember back in the 80's before they started exporting sheep in large quantities to the middle east, and lamb was half the price of beef. That wasn't 'devastating' for farmers, so neither should this be.

  2.  @seanworkman431  Water is also essential for life but the doesn't mean more is always better, so that's an irrelevant point. The best way to reduce energy prices in the future is to invest in renewables.
