@thefenskes5020 Well, this for starters. "most people don't have any symptoms". That's garbage. The best estimates for the asymptomatic rate are 15% - 30%. That's not "most people", not even close. Feel free to provide a reference from the relevant government agencies which 100% supports his claim, but you wont find any.
His comments on the CDC are a lie. The interaction between the virus and the host is country independent. So yes, what the CDC finds is relevant to Australia, just as it is the rest of the world.
"and it kills less than 0.03% of the people who do contract it and are confirmed to have done so by same" Another lie. The mortality rate for Cv19 is above 2%. Feel free to provide a reference from the relevant government agencies which 100% supports his claim of 0.03%.
Then there's his implication that the lockdowns in Vic are unnecessary, supported by statistics which any sane person not trying to distort the truth would interpret as "The lockdowns are doing what they're intended to do, preventing the virus from spreading". Sinnergism is actually suggesting the fact the lockdowns are so successful means they never should have been implemented in the first place. Utterly ridiculous. He's also using the result of the action rather than the alternative. Quite deceptive. There's no point in discussing the number of cases/hospitalisation/deaths that occur once lockdowns are implemented when you're attempting to show they shouldn't have been implemented in the first place. No, what you need there is the number of cases/hospitalisation/deaths which would have occurred if lockdowns weren't implemented at all, or if they were implemented to late or not stringently enough. There are many examples around the world where lockdowns weren't as adequately implemented as they have been here, and none of them suggest they're doing better than we are. In almost all cases, far from it.
