  1. If they made it so the candidates had to run on "policies the Democratic Party agrees with", I think we all know the corporate Dems would try to make it so the candidates had to agree with the Affordable Care Act and weren't allowed to run on Medicare for All.

The fact that Our Revolution and Justice Democrats are winning against corporate Democrats in primaries (48% success rating) should be a sign to anyone that it is entirely possible that the people can overwhelm the Democratic Party. The Dem's numbers keep on dwindling while progressive's numbers keep growing. It's as simple as that.
