He's already said many times he plans to organize around pushing Joe to the Left if elected. You don't have to take his word for it though because even back when Obama was president (& very few people organized back then) Bernie was fighting the Obama administration & one of the only people to publicly rally against Obama when he tried to cut Social Security, axe Net Neutrality, etc.

Or anyone in the media or Washington. All I've heard from anyone is platitudes about decency. Meanwhile Bernie has to tell us what they even mean when they talk in vague platitudes.

@Enfiare That's your personal choice. Try to respect people's decisions, voting for Biden has a logic to it if your goal is to help people.

@juliahoff7158 Bernie did 39 rallies for Clinton & then spent the next 4 years listening to her bitch about him. He's not expecting anything from the Dems, he only cares about the direction this country is headed. You seem to have a flimsy grasp of politics.

@juliahoff7158 Every single thing you just said is foolish & you really don't understand Bernie if you think he cares or is expecting a position under Biden.

@Enfiare Equally I challenge you to explain how anything will be better under 4 more years of Trump. You can vote however you want, just don't shame people or call them "morons" because they agree with Noam Chomsky & Bernie on the lesser evil logic.

@maccon1 Ah yes, there's that respect I was talking about.

@AConquerorsVendetta Literally never said Biden would help people. Removing GOP from power will help people. Do I really need to explain that?

It's not hard to figure this shit out. You vote for the person whose gonna do the least amount of damage. If you can't take it upon yourself to vote, then at the very least don't twist the narrative or shame others (like Bernie, Cornel West, Shaun King, etc) for fighting for the lesser evil.

Biden is far far weaker than Obama & also nothing is ever going to "go back to the way things were" after the Trump years. Democrats are fools if they think the social unrest will stop under them & leftists are fools if any of them believe a Biden presidency will give the same results as a Trump presidency.

@Enfiare The "it will lead to someone worse" argument is only valid if you consider Biden as talented of a politician as Obama & if you were to pretend the Trump years never happened. It's assuming that we're creating the same series of events that led to Trump by electing a neoliberal, but the parameters are still far far different. Unlike under Obama, there will be massive social unrest under Biden, the protests won't stop, I doubt the Pandemic & Depression will even be over, & overall people & politics have changed forever due to Trump. If anything, we can expect America under a Biden presidency to look something like France when Macron was elected president. Both the Left & Right in France have been actively protesting against a "centrist" neoliberal administration & when things like a regressive carbon tax were levied against citizens, Marie Le Pen's supporters & the Left both aligned & organized the Yellow Vest protests. In no way am I saying this is a good outcome, but it is far different (& more realistic) than the idea that we're just going to auto rewind to 2013 when we had a neoliberal president that leftists were content with.

Who gives a shit one way or the other. If you think Bernie's choices & actions are fueled by "friendship", you're an idiot. Also, that line specifically came from a campaign strategy that was used to attack Biden in a passive aggressive manner. I've never even heard him say that outside the context of attacking Biden on the Iraq War or NAFTA/TPP.
