  4. I feel the same way, I have never banged my head on a side opening tailgate. Where the GX has been sold as a Prado the spare tire is often mounted on the tailgate and fuel capacity has increased to 40 gallons. The new tailgate design for GX/Prado has eliminated those advantages.

  7. It is always good to see a 'light foot' pays off with better mpg. Like many people, I was under the impression Toyota/Lexus 4X4s had hitches installed at the factory.
