AMD, I hold my hand up and admit before 1,270,000 witnesses that I made many of the most common used car buying mistakes. Most of those mistakes come under the category 'Managing Expectations'. Wishful thinking is a particularly dangerous mindset when used car shopping. After nursing my financial bruises for a couple of decades, 🤬😭 I finally saw the light and bought a new car made by Toyota. Nearly 20 years later, I can say I am living the dream of reliable Toyota ownership. Up here in Canada, used Toyotas are still in very short supply and bargains are nearly non-existent. You are probably better off getting on the waiting list for a new Toyota.

@gadasavideos8564 Before 2020, there were plenty of deals on most Toyota models in our market. Despite the fact new car production has met or exceeded earlier levels, the used car market has still not returned to the historical balance.
