Kontolman Kontol If that was true, Winnie wouldn't be so interested. I think Taiwan semi conductors and similar businesses could be move to Australia, and have it be mutually beneficial for all involved.

They realised it adds to the reach of the video...and Wu Mao won't be able to resist commenting in numbers. Easy.

Relocate to Australia. Leave the CCP nothing.

@friendlyindo4191 What? Sandpaper? Thanks to CCP paying silly prices for iron Australia is hitting record export surpluses. Basically making just as much money by sending less goods. Australia's friends in India were thankful for Barley. That worked well for everyone. And now a global food shortage has driven prices up at a time Australia isn't locked in to selling to China. Australia can get record prices, or use it to help struggling nations. Did they ever get power to the regions effected when Xi stopped coal imports...and his citizens paid the price for his vanity?

@friendlyindo4191 Australia was strong long before they helped bring China out of the 3rd world state that Mao left it in. Australia will be fine long after the CCP destroys China from within yet again. I am sure the Aussies will help build up again after. It's what they do.

@citytianyu No one wants a trade war. It's never a good thing for anyone. However, Xi already instigated it, after his ego was bruised when he couldn't force Australia to use Huawei. Australia can feed itself, and many other nations. That's the benefit of a massive country with a small population relative to the resources available. China however, needs to rely on imports to even feed it's people. They also require more raw materials than they produce themselves. Sure, a trade battle hurts everyone, but Australia can survive. It chooses imports...China needs imports. It's a key differential.
