  1. When can I expect to have to do this on my 2009 RAV4? It has close to 67,000 miles on it now. We also have Michelin Cross Climate2 tires on our RAV4 but with 18 inch wheels. Anyone who has ever changed the starter in an old 4WD Honda Civic Wagon knows what it is to work by feel. For that job I even had to use two universal sockets between my ⅜ inch ratchet and the bolt.
