@GerrySkeptic sure if it was appreciated one of my friends already has the divorce with the wife turning his 4 and 6 year old daughters against him. So yes pick carefully but he was a good Christian dated long term didn’t sleep around and yet here he is. Now similar to your example imagine your daughters saying they hate you ignoring you or just being mean towards you when you see them. I keep in touch often cause I worry self deleting is definitely on his mind these days. I get your point but understand these scenarios unfortunately are no longer rare or very unlikely they are becoming very common. 50% divorce and even in the church it’s not much lower. Just saying I understand your point but this is the other side of the view as well.
