28 pretty similar it’s not a super uncommon story today. I say similar cause I’ve had 1 girlfriend. But did not last long. Also I am a very old school traditional guy I definitely did learn no flowers and all that other stuff I was taught though. Oooof had some brutal ones being an old school gentleman that is not what they want at all 😂

Possibly I had a good masculine dad the problem is he was a terrible teacher and anytime I did something it was never good enough so that’s the mentality I developed mostly still trying to fix it but not being good enough is my default setting most of the time. It’s how I grew up hard to be confident with that honestly.

@SureJungle23247 that’s a lot of people though but for example like me I’m Christian so that goes against my beliefs.

@Lm90ss I haven’t seen anything about his girl and I don’t really care 1 way or the other the advice is still correct even if he doesn’t follow it himself

Yeah he shouldn’t accept that all the fat people men and women need to be alone till they get the weight off period.

@BlackPrimeMinister sure but I put the caveat in there to man. It’s helped in many ways vs dudes with no dad but nothing I’ve done has ever been good enough. So there’s the tough love aspect which I get but I also never got any success either from it. So the constant not good enough is mostly what I developed over the years. Now I’m self aware and try to fix that but it is difficult from 4 - 22 always being not good enough. So just a little to much of the you can always improve but without the positive reinforcement that’s all I’m saying. I’m aware I’m still way better off than many men. But the idea of you have a dad suddenly fixes everything is not true either but it absolutely helps.
