Nice story, but automatically opting everyone in to organ donation is a gross misuse of power. You're essentially relying upon people ignorance or laziness to justify stealing their organs after death. Silence is not consent.

Organ donation is something which takes alot time to think about before making a final decision, but the government are now making it so that everyone in the country has to now make an informed decision right now, even if they don't quite understand it. They're hoping that some people won't understand the significance of this, and it obvious that this is why they're doing it, because they already know this will increase organ donation. So instead of educating people more about it, they'll just harvest the organs of those who didn't understand just how important it was for them to tick the box.

I've bobbed mi sen Good on ya mate. You're right, the government are trying to make the decision for us. And it's people like your brother who will unwittingly have their organs harvested because they don't understand the significance of what it means to not tick the box.

@puclopuclik4108 The law relies upon some people not opting out due to ignorance or laziness. It may work well, but it's theft of organs.
