  1.  Bryan Ouellet  Dinosaurs lived millions of years ago, religious texts were written a few thousand years ago, so how do you expect any text to mention dinosaurs? And what purpose would mentioning dinosaurs make? Religious books are about ethics and spirituality, not paleontology. Religious texts are filled with allegory and metaphors about the past using deductive reasoning, they didn't have a time machine.

  4.  Bryan Ouellet  Are humans not complex creatures? The study of ethics and the problem of evil alone are enough to fill a thousand books. Self-knowledge is the key to discovering who we are, what made us and for what purpose. "From the knowledge of myself i shall go onwards to the knowledge of God" We can know everything we need to know by studying ourselves, and religion is that which guides us along the path of truth.
