God does not owe us a peaceful and pristine environment in which to rebell against to the laws and pretend he doesn't exist, as we do. Or invent false gods as most of those in Afghanistan have done.❤

How many lies have you told in your life? Have you ever taken anything that didn't belong to you? Have you ever used God's holy name to curse, would you do that with your mother's name? How many times have you gazed with lustful intent at someone or entertained lustful desire towards them?

God is perfectly and unapproachably holy and he will not allow the smallest selfishness into his kingdom. He could have discarded us for our rebellion against him. Instead, he took upon himself the consequences for our selfish choices. Most people have heard that Jesus died on the cross. But he didn't die for any random reason, he died to take the punishment upon him. The punishment that we deserved for bringing selfishness into God's perfect, pure environment. God is going to win, he is going to get sin/darkness out of his presence. You can either be on his side and let him cleanse you and fix you or you can be against him and you can be removed... permanently. How many selfish things have you done? Does God have reasons to punish/remove you? ❤❤❤
