@briantitchener4829 Well, nope. First of all, you cannot become a monarch, not matter what you do and how many people in UK support you. Second, you are obliged to pay a sum for a support of royal family, wherever you like it or not, and people in UK cannot remove this obligation. Third, while your protesting against monarchy is somewhat tolerated, there are still lese majeste laws in British law system. For example there is a 1848 treason act that makes illegal to campaign for absolution of monarchy. It is usually ignored, but ... recently when Elizabeth II died, protesters against monarchy were quietly removed from public spaces under certain pretenses (disturbing of public peace and such). And finally, British monarch still has technically the power to dissolute Parliament and Government if he choses to do so.
