What is a common ground between these two seemingly sharply opposite groups ? @RZakelis Lenin did create a country that in 30 years became super power, from the ruins of defeated empire. Strictly mathematically speaking, Lenin was more successful.

In communism (socialism in fact) means of the production are mostly in the hand of the state, state is in the hands of the party, and party itself is in the hands of tiny minority. In liberal capitalism means of the production are in the hands of few large companies (monopoly) and these companies are in the hands of selected elite. In both cases if you look at the ethnic composition of these elites, you will understand everything ;)

@RZakelis Same could be said about American Founding Fathers. Each country has some myth about its creation, and certain historical figures are elevated beyond criticism, except in narrow circle of professional historians.

@lilmoonbeam3883 I would disagree. US founding fathers were not really Christians, at least you could conclude that by imaginary they used, and certain catch phrases. Most likely they were masonic, i.e. they worshiped Demiurge that TIK likes to mention. In any case, 99% of Americans were Christian at that time, but US constitution deliberately left a lot of "liberty" for creatures that would come latter, and now we witness them in the open. USSR was at least open in that regard, i.e. they openly persecuted Christianity, thus it managed to survive since Christianity is by design religion of persecuted.

The problem both you and TIKhistory fail to understand, is simply that this world is filled with contradictions. No matter do we think about them or not. Therefore, we are compelled to solve them, and find synthesis, if we want to move forward as a species.

@TIKhistory is completely wrong about the history and study of the history. History actually is study of the past (trough records) AND attempt to formulate patterns that would help to understand present and the future. If history could not predict future, it would be completely useless.

@xxHOBOMANxx Alinsky, just like Rand, worked for the interests of his "tribe". Each of them spread destructive ideologies that effectively hollowed out Western society. They destroyed traditional morals, suppressed empathy and solidarity towards own kin. If you look at modern Western society you would see results of these two seemingly opposite ideologies. One one side lunatic radical left, on the other corporate egotistical psychopaths.

@Aim54Delta Actually, you are operating from the premise that :a) there is a material world b) you are capable of comprehending that world c) you are most important entity in that world. Actually, a) and b) are quite debatable. As for c) , it is more of your attitude. I guess it is true that you are most important for yourself. I'm just saying that people like could not create civilization. In fact, people like you have trouble creating and maintaining even a simple family. Which in fact was the hidden purpose of creators of this ideology. Simply, if a substantial part of the nation embraces your ideology, that nation is dead. @RZakelis That is your opinion. But if you consider USSR as a prison, then US is now even greater prison, because level of brainwashing far exceeds USSR. For example, USSR never made its kids to mutilate their private parts. . Still, both countries were great powers, and USSR become so partially due to Lenin.

@barahng Well ... no. Founding Fathers were criticized by their contemporaries while they were still alive and active, but so was Lenin. Only after their death they were deified and remained so practically until 1940s, when those who we are not allowed to mention started attacking foundations of US, thus even Founding Fathers. This reached crescendo lately because original Republic (with all of its virtues and flaws) is now lost, US is becoming dictatorship of those who we are not allowed to mention, there is a population and culture replacement going on and so on ...

@nationalsocialist6590 Your basic premise is flawed. Farmer does not "own" his means of production, i.e. land. There is a thing called eminent domain. You may have legal ownership of the land, but it is only because sovereign gave it to you. Thus, you must use your land legally. In time of famine, in most jurisdictions it is illegal to hoard food.

What fails to understand is that he also belongs to a cult: cult of so called "free market" (which never existed and never will) and so called "individualism" (which also cannot exist due to biological limitations of man). Cults are usually recognized by zealous adherents, that accept certain axioms and dogmas which shall not be criticized .

Actually, myth of tower of Babel was created to enslave humanity. Tower was in no way perfect, but supposed "god" was afraid of it. Why ? Because Jehovah is not a god. It is more of Jewish tribal demon. If you look at his works (killing of children, plagues, and general destruction ) you would notice that. Thus, this demon was afraid of what humanity could accomplish.

@TheImperatorKnight Actually, so called "free market" leads to monopolies every time. Case in point: Internet. From all search engines we have been reduced to one. From all social networks we have been reduced practically to one. From all streaming services we have been reduced practically to one. It is not quality of those companies, when you have enough money you could simply stifle competition. "Free market" is a chimera, never existed and never will.

As for Marx, he promised a lot of nice things, but in reality workers cannot run factories (they are not educated or qualified for that). There will always be the need for the manager class, and in case of Marxist in real life they killed intellectuals from lets say Russian nation, and did bring their own, i.e. Js. Fortunately for the Russians, they were not fully successful, but heavy damage has been done, and enormous negative selection. We see similar process in Ukraine today - allow the Js to run your nation and you will face hundreds of thousands of dead, mostly young people in their prime. Even in the West, where Js have enormous influence, lunatic and anti-life ideologies like LGBTXYZ are being promoted with end goal of genocide.
