Actually, you @TIKHistory are flat out wrong on this topic, because you deny simple biology. Languages are not created on their own, they are carried and spread by people that use them. And these people do have certain genetic traits that make them distinct from other people. It is a well known fact that even today Indians themselves prefer lighter skin and certain European traits. It is a well known fact that caste systems was designed to prevent free mixing of various ethnic groups. Migrations are also a historical fact. Therefore, setting aside talk about superiority, Aryan theory of origin is quite possible and even believable - except for those brainwashed by modern PC propaganda.

Why would common SS troopers, with little or no education about this historical topic knew what it really meant ? They knew only about SchutzStaffel, but those at the top had better education and understood things on a deeper level .

There is nothing crazy about certain group of people migrating, even conquering and spreading its language(s) in new territory. Actually, it is only natural way language would spread . For example, English would never arrive in territory of modern US without English people (with their genetic makeup) also arriving and conquering this territory.

@Gauntlet_Videos It is not crazy because languages does not develop on their own. Since at those times humans did not have internet, movies, TV and music, there was practically no possibility for one language to spread - except if member of certain racial group speaking that language do not come to certain territory. Usually as conquerors.

@sabhishek9289 It has everything to do with ethnicity. Certain families were in certain caste because they were of different origin than members of other caste. As time passed original cause was lost, but taboo remained. Same with preference for lighter skin : lighter skin was associated with higher caste, i.e. nobility. Nobility was once made of those with lighter skin, i.e. Aryans . British did use this a tool for conquest , but nevertheless there is a truth in it.
12
@sabhishek9289 Nope. You could have someone never going under scorching sun, if his skin is naturally dark it would remain such. Similarly, if someone's skin is naturally light, it would tan a bit under the sun, but it will never become completely dark. What was happening is simply this : those with lighter skin would belong to higher caste and would remain in shade, while those with dark skin would need to work in fields etc ... Thus, natural difference in skin tone would only increase.
10
@sabhishek9289 Actually, it does not work that way. Adaption of pigmentation happens very slowly. This is the reason you could have completely White person living for generations in Australia, and similarly completely Black person in Canada or Alaska. In India, higher castes originally had lighter skin and this remained no matter the climate.

@snagletoothscott3729 Obviously blonde hair and blue eyes are not a defect, otherwise people with blue eyes and blonde hair would not exist for long :D Not to mention dominate certain parts of the globe. In any case, mutations in genome do exist. Primary question is did Aryans existed , and did they at certain point invade India, created their own culture with their own language, and created caste system to prevent race mixing you mentioned. Answer is likely : yes.
7
@Gauntlet_Videos Well, of course. And National-Socialist agree with that. They simply searched for traces of original Aryans in South Asia, especially in remote corners. They never expected to find full blooded Aryans. In fact, according to their theories, due to race mixing India declined and was later conquered - a warning against dilution of blood.

@charlesk22 SS was very large organization, from LSAH to run of the mill cops working for Gestapo and similar. In any case, majority of them did not have classical university education needed to understand runes or Sanskrit.
7
@snagletoothscott3729 Of course it is not a defect. It is a genetic trait, sometimes advantageous. You likely do not understand how evolution works - mutations could be beneficial or harmful. Beneficial mutations persist, harmful do not unless they are masked by something else. Defect is on the other hand by definition something harmful.

There is nothing crazy about Indo-European languages having same root, and being spread by one ethnic group that migrated and conquered over Asia and Europe. In fact, that is one natural way languages are spread.
4
@billbolton This does not answer the question why would those with darker skin do manual labor, and those with lighter skin "intellectual" labor. And obvious answer to this is that those with lighter skin once belonged to completely different ethnicity that conquered those with darker skin.
4
@snagletoothscott3729 Skin color is a gradual adaptation to the climate, it happens trough generations.
3
@pain5835 Unfortunately, you are right . TIK, otherwise intelligent person, seems to be rather brainwashed in certain areas.
3
@billbolton I'm afraid it is :P
3
@billbolton Well, if you look at modern Pashtun in Afghanistan and Pakistan, you will notice that some of them do look pretty European (features, eyes, even hair and skin) . They even have certain genetic similarities to European population. As for archeological artifacts, don't know what do you need that does not exist currently ? Indo-Aryan migrations are considered as proven thing with various traces. Only thing that is possibly missing is genetic sampling of some of the ancient princes and nobles - hard to do because of funeral practice of immolation.
3
@billbolton Evidence is pretty simple : light skin is favored, there is a caste society with strict ban on intermarriage, on one side you have Indo-Aryan languages and on the other completely unrelated Dravidian languages in southern India.

@michaels4255 Mainly because it is hard to create new religion in modern times where everything is recorded and there is no place for mythical.
1
@debradias8288 Considering yourself (and your group) superior is actually pretty normal biological mechanism. It gives you impetus to fight for your place under the sun.
1
@debradias8288 Unfortunately, in nature superiority is usually determined by superior force. Had Third Reich managed to win (somehow) their superiority would be proven fact. Since they lost, their superiority is ridiculed. Compare that to US - their system was considered superior after WW2 until they started losing wars.
1
@katarinatibai8396 Well, nope. Even European peasants working in field whole day would have lighter skin than Indian nobility. Genetics is the key here.
1
@Saagar_Sahu Alexander did not hold that land much (he died soon afterwards, and his successors were not interested). There was not enough time to change genetic composition.
1
@Saagar_Sahu You may call it what ever you like , but (varna, jati etc ..) but this system did exist and was created to stop intermixing .
1
@rsmlinar1720 How do you propose will that happen - do not see sun for a long time ;)
