  1. To be fair to Zegler... a lot of those old Grimm tales are actually very weird. They weren't really written for children and are often rather metaphorical. The original sleeping beauty is... weird... to say the least. Disney makes things dumb though... like in Hercules where they decided to make Hades into a devil figure (which was dumb) and then turned Hera from 'evil step mother' to 'loving mother'... Also... this nonsense about 'The Seven Dwarves' is bizzare. They weren't humans with dwarfism... they were mythical Dwarves. The actor that played gimli was like 6'2"... casting a human with dwarfism would have been dumb... then again, Disney made them more gnomish... maybe we need to start calling it 'gnomism' instead of 'dwarfism'.
