  1. Several things a machine shop will need to do. 1. Before anything else, measure the bores and the main journals to see if machining will fix the issues., 2. If number 1 is o.k. then clean and check the block for cracks., 3. Price the repairs for the customer to see if they just want to get a crate engine instead of spending money on this. This is what happens when you leave an engine out in the weather. What a shame.
