  1. While that Saturn tank was no fun, my Dodge truck is worse because I had a shop install a 1/4" thick skid plate under it. I did that after attempting to go down a road that had a bolder sticking up high enough that it might have punctured the tank. Oh, and I have no lift nor did I need one as it is 4 wheel drive. My Toyota had an in-tank fuel pump with exposed brushes. How do they get away without them blowing up?
