  3. Ron would have found out more info on the truck and brought the right equipment to do the job right the first time. He is the ace of tow truck drivers that I have seen on YouTube. Even the second truck was puny by Ron's standards.

  5. One of the first things Ron Pratt does before he starts a tow is to find out from the driver what weight he has. A tape measure should have told him the wheelbase was too long if nothing else. I'm guessing the truck with the CO2 rig in the back was pushing 12,000 lbs.

  6.  @ferrumignis  Actually Bridgeports come in different sizes and weights. Mine is about 2200 lbs but it has the smaller table.

  7. Most tanks I've seen are plastic these days. Neither gas or diesel will hurt them. I don't know whether is was cheapness or the fact that they don't rust from the water that gets absorbed by the alcohol in the fuel.

  8. Watch Ron Pratt's videos to see the other side of towing. He might have loaded it on a low boy trailer. His big wrecker would have been overkill.

  9. Europe is way more regulated than the US. And the regulations are not evenly or well enforced, well, except for a few places like Pasadena, TX that has its own truck enforcement patrol and pulls over a truck every few minutes when they are patrolling.
